About us

We are a Catholic Community who meet each Sunday for Mass in English.

We come from many nations but we have a strong spirit of community. This spirit is expressed through prayer, inclusion and mutual support.

What we do

We gather together every Sunday for Mass in English. Each one contributes their gifts as readers, altar servers, flower arrangers, hospitality, etc.

Families are more than welcome and each Sunday there is a Children’s Liturgy, which takes place in a nearby room during the Liturgy of the Word.

Catechesis and preparation for sacraments in English are available for both children and adults. We have celebrated both children’s and adult baptism and First Communion.

We have an RCIA programme for people wishing to join the Catholic Community.

Weddings and Anniversaries are also celebrated.

We have an outreach programme for local needs e.g.  through Caritas and St. Egidio we help people who are homeless.

We maintain our strong community spirit through after-Mass-coffee, occasional parties and outings and a weekly conversation meeting for those wishing to improve their English.

Where we are

Our Sunday mass takes place at 12:15 noon in the Jesuit church.

In the past and occassionaly also nowadays the mass is held in a small chapel above the main Jesuit church. The entrance is at the back of the church. We call this chapel and our community “Upper Room”.

Sacrament of Reconciliation/Confession – before Mass or by appointment.
